Mission Statement

To promote better understanding amongst the citizens of the State of Michigan and the citizens of the Caribbean nation of Dominican Republic, as Partners of America.

Description

Partners of America was established 32 years ago with the inspiration of President John F. Kennedy, when he called upon the Americans to reach out to the nations in the Caribbean and Latin America to create better understandin amongst all.

Each country in Latin America and the Caribbean was partnered with a State in USA.

Michigan & the Dominican Republic have been great partners and have had many cultural, educational, Health and other exchange programs.

We continue to strive for better understanding, more cultural and educational exchanges of people, youth programs, sports programs, health initiatives as well as trade and investment opportunities.
