Mission Statement

"AVP is a workshop methodology through which participants increase self-awareness, empathy and personal responsibility empowering them to discover who they truly are, instead of who they have had to be due to others’ expectations and circumstances. Discovering your true self is the key to happiness and meaning in life, connecting with others and peace in the world. "

Description

AVP is an experiential workshop designed to increase self-awareness and increase communication abilities and conflict resolution skills at all levels and ages.

Currently, AVP conducts workshops around the world and in prisons throughout the United States and 31 different countries. This is an evidence-based program that is fully supported by volunteer facilitators who become certified and carry the message in and out of prisons.

AVP is searching for volunteers in the Coachella Valley who will become volunteer facilitators by attending community-based workshops and then facilitate the AVP program at Chuckawalla Valley and Ironwood State Prisons in Blythe. All expenses are included and covered by AVP.
