Mission Statement

Helping everyone live closer to the earth, through sustainable living and practical farming to extend the family resources, without over-extending your family budget!

Welcome to Schwartz Farms! The Andrew R. Schwartz Foundation is a nonprofit 501c 3 organization that reaches out to community members in need, with the idea of "Teach a man to fish, and he shall always have plenty." To that end, we have "Schwartz Farms," the "hands on," teaching facility for the Foundation. At Schwartz Farms we teach families in the local community how to farm, on a small, natural and easily sustainable scale. This allows families to supplement their food supplies with fresh milk, eggs, meat and veggies they have learned how to grow and produce in and around

There is always something to do at the farm as it hosts over 300 animal residents including Ducks, Sheep, Goats, Chickens, Cows, Horses, Rabbits, Mini Donkeys, and even "Tom" a Rio Grande Turkey. Each day these animals need care to survive and flourish. They need new shelters built and maintained, daily feedings, periodic medical attention, grooming, and of course a whole lot of love & attention. We have many programs including an incubation program for the ducks and chickens, horse therapy with the farm horses.

This organization is a huge scam! I volunteered here for 6 months and the owner is a horrible person. Most of the animals here die due to negligence and abuse and the only reason he registered as a non-profit for the tax exemptions and for people to work for him for free. This place needs to be shut down immediately so that no other horses die. Please spread the word!
