Wimberley Valley Radio (WVR) is a community radio station serving the Wimberley Valley area of Texas. In addition to providing educational programming and entertainment, the station fulfills a critical role in alerting the public to impending threats, such as flash floods and tornados. It also provides information about local resources to assist in disaster recovery.
