K-9 Capers one of the programs and services provided by our non-profit organization, Katie's Kidz.

Katie's kidz is designed to have both and equine and canine programs aimed at instilling positive character development, proper problem solving techniques and team spirit by teaching the three cornerstones, empathy, respect and responsibility. These are constantly and positively reinforced with the youth as well as with the dogs.

The program is for 9-18 year olds. You may bring your dog or one may be provided for you through our Therapy Dog International, AKC or Rescue affiliations.

We encourage parents and volunteers to participate in the training if possible. You do not need to be a professional trainer as you will be coached on the positive methods of clicker training.
