Mission Statement
The purpose of the India Association of Rhode Island (IARI) is to encourage those people with ancestral origin in India, or people who are otherwise interested in India, to form an effective and cohesive group with the objective of retaining, felicitating and fostering the social, religious, and the cultural heritage of India. The IARI fosters and promotes open discussion and organizes lectures and functions on various topics including business relations, governmental and financial structure, religion, language, culture and other worthwhile charitable causes.
The association is primarily a social, cultural, educational, and charitable organization. It is a non-profit, non-political and nonsectarian. The Association does not subscribe to any one religion and shall not discriminate against any person because of his or her religious beliefs.
