Here's a sample of our volunteer opportunities:VIEW AS
To eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
The face of Alzheimer's disease is changing. Alzheimer's is not just a disease that hits 80-years old in nursing homes. People are getting diagnosed as early as age 38. The impact of Alzheimer's on individuals, families and our health care system makes the disease one of our nation's greatest medical, social and economic challenges. Approximately 5.3 million Americans have Alzheimer's disease, and every 70 seconds, someone is added to those ranks.
The Alzheimer's Association is the leader in Alzheimer's research, support, and care. We want people to open their eyes, voice their concern, and move toward a cure by becoming an advocate and volunteer. With the support of our communities, together, we can strengthen the fight and make important gains to protect Americans against Alzheimer's disease, giving families a reason to hope.
