Mission Statement

Our Mission is to Provide Service Dog Education to Help People with Disabilities Live More Independent and Fulfilling Lives. Tax ID #47-2288228

Description

Service dogs do amazing things to improve the lives of the persons they are assisting. In recent years, the numbers of people using service dogs and the number of services that dogs provide has rapidly expanded. The likelihood of coming in contact with a working service dog team is growing, yet the general public has little appreciation of these wonderful animals, their jobs, or how to interact with the people who use them. Moreover, the demand for an increased number of service dogs trained to help people with disabilities grows. Consequently we have made it our mission is to aid this challenge. We also aim to provide a higher level of understanding about service dog law, service dog etiquette, and service dog puppy raising to help the service dog industry reach a higher level of consciousness.

Volunteering for Growing Up Guide Pup was the best decision ever, The founders (Matthew and Amie) are very supportive and helpful. I worked with them as a video editor on their projects, which I find it mind blowing and very educative when I got know it was all about training of dogs to help people with disabilities, and their communication skills is very effective and smart. Infact they're real humans you could ever find on this planet. My recommendation is 100% with anyone who wants to work with them. Thanks for everything guys I really appreciate you. ❤️❤️❤️

Matt and Amie are both super friendly and fun to work with! They gave me a great range of projects to work on, and were always clear, communicative, and so so supportive of everything I had done. GUGP is a wonderful and valuable non-profit, and I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to work with a great team for a great cause.

This GUGP organization is not only for fun, but also aims at helping the communities in north america and beyond. GUGP runs multiple programs to help the service dog organizations with platforms, training and education, etc. The founders of GUGP are brilliant, and this program is putting a lot of efforts to fulfill it's long term mission.

Service dogs are specially trained to help people with disabilities. The mission of the org is to provide education on service dogs. The organization does this by breeding & raising service dogs, documenting the process and sharing the content on a regular basis. The organization is going through a re-boot in its team, processes and projects. So, exciting time to be a part of the team to re-build.

I am currently volunteering as a Board Member at Growing up Guide pup. I have learnt so much about service dog culture and importance of this ecosystem to our society. The founders are really creative and fun to work with. They have been doing an incredible job with service dog educational content creation and delivery through website and multiple social media platforms. Highly recommend the organization to anybody interested in learning and contributing towards a worthy mission.

I am currently Volunteering at GUGP and I can say that the passion to help people, the zeal for passionate public service and dedication for helping people just makes the founder a real benefit to society. GUGP has such a noble cause and I plan to stick with them for as long as possible to realize their mission's implementation into our societies most needed area.

Matt and Amie are very nice people who deserve your time and effort! There are a variety of ways you can volunteer with Growing Up Guide Pup, mine was through video editing. It was a perfect balance between them telling me what they want, while also allowing me some creative leeway.

Overall, my experience volunteering with Growing Up Guide Pup was rewarding. Growing Up Guide Pup is a small nonprofit that will continue benefiting the public more and more as they grow. They aim to provide unique content that aligns with their mission of better educating the public about service dog etiquette and culture. I learned so much about this myself while volunteering! I would encourage volunteers to apply who are interested in educating the public about service dogs and who can work in an organized manner as the nonprofit is growing.

Growing up guide pup is a small but amazing nonprofit. The two founders are incredibly sweet/supportive and, allow a lot of flexibility on the tasks given. I'm so happy I got involved with this organization.
