Mission Statement
The Witness Foundation is a public charity and community outreach consisting of the following programs, Cosmic Kids, Tytus, Crysis, acc Wi-FI International that provides support to address the everyday needs to help connect families with volunteers, staff members, corporations, charities, churches and religious organizations in our communities. The foundation’s mentoring "Second Chance" and comprehensive re-entry services in a cognitive thinking program called "The Verbs" will facilitate healthy and positive relationships between the community, incarcerated individuals, their children, and caregivers. The Witness Foundation will implement positive developmental programs to address issues that children, adults and families face day to day.
Description
The Witness Foundation’s mission is to help, mentor and support using programs that directly improve the living and wellbeing of people in communities and those who re-enter back into them. The purpose of the strategy is to focus community efforts to improve outcomes associated with the transition from prison to the community. We want to promote positive youth development, prosocial approaches that engage youth and adults within their communities, schools, organizations, peer groups, and families in a manner that is productive and constructive. By establishing the Witness Foundation, the programs the foundation offers will recognize, use, and enhances the strengths of individuals; provides opportunities, fosters positive relationships, and furnishes the support they need to build on their leadership strengths. Our Goals and Objectives: If this foundation can impact who you are, what you believe, when you matter, where it hurts, and why you care in a community. The lives of the people will change a family, which will change a community and ultimately, the world. Acting as pioneers of providing family-centered mentoring, help and support, the Witness Foundation strives to be part of the solution in improving the lives of men, women, children and their families, the outreach will provide support programs that strengthen families during difficult times.
