Description

Local Pass Book Youth Media Scholarships is focused on helping young people understand themselves much better so that they can become productive adults for their futures.

There will be a variety of programs for each young person to choose from. The focus is to engage and encourage the development of new skills for each young person.

It is intended to offer programs in multimedia arts, such as Internet radio broadcasting and video production. There will also be a focus on literary arts to include poetry, creative writing and storytelling. Also included in our list of programs would be visual arts in graphic design, various campus applications, graffiti street art and more as time passes. We also want to encourage involvement in learning how to cook and other handcraft skills as they become available.

The young people will have an opportunity to work in a teambuilding environment through project management, fundraising events and in marketing. These skills will help to develop a greater inner sense of self for young people as they are meant toward through various events.

These programs are intended for each young person to understand more about themselves and be encouraged to stay focused on building the person within and how to understand the past. The focus is on the future.
