Mission Statement
Center for Hope and Healing's mission is threefold: to provide healing relationships to those who are emotionally wounded; to provide supportive education and counseling for those who wish to nurture the next generation; and to mentor and train budding therapists in the philosophy and practice of the attachment-based therapies that forever undo painful family legacies.
Description
CHH provides diverse programs for both healing and prevention, including: Family Therapy; Couples Counseling; Individual Therapy; Play Therapy for Children; Creative Counseling for Adolescents; and Pre-Pregnancy and Parenting Classes. In addition, in partnership with many marriage and family therapy programs, CHH provides mentoring and training to the next generation of caring, ethical therapists, blending the science of interpersonal neurobiology with the art of compassionate counseling. Since 1992, CHH has served as a training site for regional marriage and family therapy programs, including Pepperdine, Chapman, Pacifica, University of Santa Monica, Cal State Fullerton and Azusa Pacific.
