I've been an adoption counselor for about a month and helped to place two adorable babies with purrmanent homes. It was such a sense of accomplishment. The people are extremely supportive and available for questions and advice. Try it, you'll like it! :)

I have been volunteering for MRCA not too long, but surly long enough to know that it is a comforting/accepting group of caring people! I enjoy this group quite a bit and always refer them to anyone looking to adopt!

We have a great group of volunteers - fosters, adoption managers, transportation, Petfinder & Pets911 postings, and fundraising volunteers. Even if someone cannot foster, there are many other things to do to help the cats & kittens. Everyone is always willing to help the other members. We do a number of events for fundraising, too - wrapping packages at Borders, Pets in the Park, Bark n Purr Festival, Christmas on Mercer Street, etc. I am glad to be a member of this caring group.

My wife and I volunteer for this wonderful group of caring people. We appreciate that they always have the cats' best interest at heart. They are helpful and encouraging to all their volunteers. There is always someone online or near a phone to help answer questions. They really seek out the perfect match for their cats and kittens. And there is nothing as rewarding for us as seeing the kitten that we've fostered find her "fur-ever" home!

Everyone in the group is great. They are always very helpful and make you feel apreciated. They are a group of great people who are very passionate about what they do. Fostering is very rewarding. I love it and love the group I foster for.
