Barakat's mission is to improve the well-being of marginalized groups in South and Central Asia by increasing access to quality education and a healthy environment.

Barakat is a non-profit organization in Cambridge, Massachusetts that works to improve education and health in vulnerable communities in Afghanistan, and Pakistan. Special focus is placed on reaching marginalized members of society, such as girls and women, who do not traditionally have access to quality education and healthcare.
