The mission of the Rochester Art Center is to foster an appreciation and understanding of contemporary art through: 1) The organization and presentation of exhibitions and; 2) The creation of innovative educational programs and interpretive materials that effectively engage regional audiences with contemporary art.

Description

For more than 50 years, the Rochester Art Center has provided people of all ages an opportunity to enrich their lives by experiencing and enjoying the visual arts.

As an important regional art center, we organize and prexent an exciting, year-round schedule of contemporary exhibitions.

The new Rochester Art Center building is a dynamic gathering place, with open, vibrant interior spaces that build community and enhance interaction with art.

Hours: Tuesday-Saturday 10 am-5 pm; Thursday 10 am-9 pm; and Sunday Noon-5 pm

Admission: $3 adults; $2 seniors (over 62); and free for members and students. Free on Thursdays.
