Mission Statement

To support the World Food Program in their effort to eradicate global hunger through education, fundraising and advocacy.

Description

The Friends of the World Food Program has a NEW committee in the Medina/Akron area of Ohio. Our goals include:

  • educating our community about the campaign to end global hunger
  • implementing fun fundraising events to raise money for the World Food Program, which provides food for the hungry in 78 countries around the world
  • encouraging our representatives to make eradicating global hunger a priority
