Mission Statement

The Chaplaincy Institute (ChI - pronouced "Chee") is an interfaith seminary specializing in practical and applied theology. It prepares students for skillful and compassionate service in our spiritually and culturally diverse world.

Description

ChI's Interfaith Studies program incorporates studies in world religions, spiritual psychology, dreamwork, pastoral care, spiritual direction, and ceremonial rites. Creative approaches and practical skills for chaplaincy and ministry are emphasized.

Through multi-modal, experiential learning students gain a deeper understanding of the world's faith traditions while simultaneously deepening their relationship to their own spiritual path.
