The Southwest Community Network is a 501-C-3, nonprofit, community based organization serving the Southwest portion of Maricopa County. The communities included in the service area are: Tolleson, Avondale, Goodyear, Buckeye, Gila Bend, and Litchfield Park. SCN has been in existence nearly 20 years and advocates for and provides Health and Human Services for the region. The mission of SCN is to unite and mobilize the communities of Southwest Maricopa County through leadership for effective development and utilization of resources in order to enhance the quality of life in those areas. Further, to identify, develop, implement, and sustain services to enhance quality of life. The purpose of the organization is to enhance coordination, collaboration, and cooperation among human service providers, community residents, local governments, and the private business sector; to advocate for meeting human service needs in the service area; to develop and nurture needed programs and services, and to develop resources for needed services.
