The Tennessee Junior Chamber will continue to strive to be the best young peoples leadership training organization in the state. We will continue to train young leaders for the future of the betterment of our local towns, counties, cities, communities, and the state of Tennessee.
The United States Junior Chamber (Jaycees) gives young people between the ages of 18 and 40 the tools they need to build the bridges of success for themselves in the areas of business development, management skills, individual training, community service, and international connections. The U.S. Junior Chamber is a non-profit corporation/organization as described under IRS code 501 (c)(4).
The purpose of the local chapter (Millington Jaycees) is to become a force for good in the community, determining community needs and providing solutions by planning and facilitating community service projects. In the act of serving, members receive hands-on experience, which translates to the enhancement of personal growth and the development of valuable leadership skills.
A few of our yearly fundraisers include but are not limited to: Our annual Haunted House, Relay for Life events, Annual Gong Show, and many community based events to help within our region. We would love anyone with a desire to help, to join us.
