Mission Statement

Angel Search and Rescue's (ASAR) primary mission is to provide trained ground searchers and a command organization for missing person search operations. ASAR will also provide assistance with communications at search scenes, educational programs to the general public to decrease the number of searches and provide supplemental emergency medical support when requested .

Description

Angel Search and Rescue provides assistance to law enforcement agencies in searching for lost or missing persons. We may also be called on to assist with locating downed aircraft and to assist local authorities and agencies in times of natural or man-made disasters. Angel Search and Rescue is on call 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days a year. While primarily on call to law enforcement agencies, Angel Search and Rescue will respond to requests from any emergency service agency when requested through the Virginia Department of Emergency Management.
