No man or women should ever go hungry. Our mission is to reach as many eldery New Yorkers as possible and provide them with free supplemental food packages.

Description

The commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) which is run through Kings County Hospital Center offers free United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Commodity food packages. These supplemental food packages are provided to the elderly who are at least 60 years of age and older and who meet the income guidelines. The supplemental food packages contain food items from all of the basic food groups; vegetable, fruit, grain, protein, and dairy. In addition participants enrolled in the program are also provided with free nutrition education.
