Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) is the only organization solely dedicated to addressing the unique needs of those who have suffered senseless injury or death at the hands of a drunk driver in the State of Maryland. MADD's Campaign to Eliminate Drunk Driving will get drunk drivers off the road through high visibility law enforcement; mandatory ignition interlocks for all convicted drunk drivers; exploration of advanced vehicle-based technology and community support. Our core programs are proven to help MADD effectively pursue our mission to stop drunk driving, support the victims of this violent crime and prevent underage drinking. These core programs include: victim services, education and public awareness campaigns and legislative advocacy. MADD provides a variety of volunteer activities for local individuals and groups. These activities include providing victim assistance, law enforcement recognition, facilitating prevention and education programs, court monitoring, community outreach and other tasks designed to promote MADD's mission in the community.
