The services we offer are education, prevention, research and treatment to the community regarding technology overuse and addiction. Reboot & Recover is the first non-profit organization in the Nation to offer these services. By providing education and prevention to children, adolescents, and families we aim to diminish the negative effect technology overuse will have on their quality of life. In place we provide tools that parents and children can use to attain a happy, healthy and balanced life.
Reboot & Recover assists children and adolescents in learning how to balance their screen time wisely by engaging in other activities. These activities focus on essential wellbeing factors necessary for healthy growth and development which include:
- Motor functional skills
- Critical thinking abilities
- Daily living fundamental skills
- Physical activity
- Emotional wellbeing
- Effective communication skills
- Interpersonal life skills
- Intrinsic values, morals, ethics and foster self-confidence
- Family togetherness
Furthermore we offer therapy for individuals, couples, and families struggling with any issues related to technology overuse and addiction. The treatment is provided by licensed and practicing professionals in a confidential and caring capacity.
We conduct presentations, forums and consulting to agencies, communities, and individuals that would like to inform the general public, people they serve, or their employees on any of the topics we cover. This includes but are not limited to:
- Video Game Addiction
- Internet Addiction
- Social Media Addiction
- Internet pornography addiction
- Gambling Addiction
- Cyber bullying
- Cyber security and awareness
- Parenting the iGeneration
All presentations include clear definitions of these topics, specific examples of each, and a step-by-step explanation of how to treat the issues with conflict resolution solutions. Our presentations can be catered to the audience’s needs.

We also offer clinical supervision for mental health counselors seeking licensure as well as provide internship hours for individuals seeking their Florida Certification Board licenses for Certified Addiction Professionals.
