Snap!'s mission is to celebrate master photographers, discover and cultivate emerging photographers, and promote the appreciation of photography worldwide.

Description

Snap! boldly increases the visibility and appreciation of the photographic medium as a significant cultural art form. We believe that photography plays a critical role in society as the vehicle for cultural documentation, reflection and action. Snap! seeks to increase exposure to this highly accessible art form and to broaden the demographic of engaged art enthusiasts within our community.

Since its founding in 2009, Snap! Orlando has hosted an annual four-day photography event, showcasing international, national and local photographers. The event includes on-stage appearances by notable photographers, exhibits, projections, installations, seminar, photography workshops and community events.

In January 2014, Snap! Space opened the doors to its 5000 sq. ft. indoor-outdoor gallery and event venue at the newly renovated Cameo Theater. We now offer gallery events throughout the year including exhibitions of local, national and international artists and partners. Our programming is highly diversified, inspired and community driven.
