Description

The Rhode Island Farm Bureau has been in existence for 62 years and is comprised of volunteers. We advocate for agriculture and farming in Rhode Island as well as promote ag education via our Ag in the Classroom program, we lobby on behalf of farming and farmers, and we support the protection of personal and property rights for farmers. We have a Women's Leadership Committee comprised of volunteers who organize projects that raise funds for our scholarship program and benefits the Ronald McDonald House in Rhode Island. We participate in the 4-H Fairs across the state as well as the Washington County Fair in August, The Equine Affaire in November in Springfield. We also have a Young Farmer and Rancher Program for those young people who wish to become farmers. We are basically the go-to organization for answers to questions farmers may have and we provide exceptional benefits to our members.
