Mission Statement
The Mission of Achee (Ah-shayh') is to cause peace, transformation and sustainability by creating Pocket of Peace learning and cultural centers and ecological sites globally. We have land in the Republic of Benin, West Africa, to build The Achee Light Center, and an "adopted" village, Akim Anyinase, in Ghana, West Africa, that has requested our support in building a school and herbal clinic in addition to bringing in other necessities.

Description
Our main headquarters are in New York, though for professional reasons the Co-Founder/Chairperson is in Florida. Achee has presented cultural events, Manifesting Vision Dinners, partnerships with other organizations. We are affiliated withGhanaian nongovernmental organization (NGO), The Mother's Social Club, as well as Benin NGO, Achee-Benin ONG {cq}. As a means of representing our support for women globally, Achee's Board of Directors is made up of women, whereas our Advisory Board is composed of both men and women. We love multiculturality and live it. While the Chairperson is getting her book, The Mother's Manual, A Spiritual and Practical Guide to Child Rearing and Motherhood (c) published and successfully out in the world, Achee had been on pause. We are awakening again, and it is time for us to be active. We embrace whole-heartedly having volunteers to help this venture, as we intend having our first Achee African Voyage in 2009.
