Creating First Impressions (CFI) exists to help break the cycle of poverty and addiction amongst at-risk youth by delivering a program that gives youth ages 14-25 in San Diego a better sense of career adaptability, responsibility, clear goals and the skills to reach these goals. This program will create partnerships with other established community organizations, nonprofits, and certain schools to enhance their existing programs. CFI will come to an organization or facility and offer an after school program dedicated to facilitating and educating this specific population. CFI will do so with a curriculum that guides the students through a 4-8 week program that will address topics such as; identifying employment objectives, future career/education planning, interpersonal effectiveness, resume writing, mock interviewing, and college preparation.
