Description

Teen Empowerment hires low-income urban youth (ages 14 to 21) to work after school and in the summers to identify pressing issues in their communities and organizes strategies to address those issues. TE Youth use the arts to present social change messages to thousands of their peers each year in a way they will be heard, understood and embraced as well as facilitate dialogue sessions and create community events to build tolerance in their neighborhoods.
