Here's a sample of our volunteer opportunities:VIEW AS
The mission of Feline Underground Rescue is to save unwanted and abandoned cats and kittens that have the potential to be adopted, fostering them while they are being prepared for adoption, caring for their medical needs, assuring that they are spayed or neutered before adoption, carefully screening potential adopters and ultimately finding them forever homes.
Feline Underground Rescue was founded in order to fill a need in the Inland Empire community that exists because too many unwanted or abandoned cats and kittens are being needlessly euthanized in shelters. Our resources are dedicated to rescuing many of these cats and kittens either directly from the shelters or before they are turned in to a shelter in order to save their lives, provide them the necessary medical care and prepare them for adoption.
Our adoptable cats and kittens will go to their forever homes having been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, tested for Feline Leukemia, and treated for fleas and worms while being lovingly cared for in a network of foster homes and adoption centers run by volunteers. Potential adopters are carefully screened via an application process which our Board of Directors has designed with certain parameters to adhere to.
Our network of foster families specializes in nursing back to health the sick or underage kitties that often do not get the opportunity to be adopted in shelter situations. Volunteers of all ages and stages of life are welcomed and trained in the areas they can comfortably provide their services to our organization in order to serve the community.
