Mission Statement
ArtsConnection has worked for the past 36 years to make the arts an essential part of education by connecting performing and visual artists with young people, families and schools in creative partnerships for teaching and learning. Reaching 50,000 students across New York City’s five boroughs, from Pre-K through 12th grade, ArtsConnection provides both in-school and out-of-school-time programming in music, dance, theater, media, and the visual arts.

About ArtsConnection Teen Programs
ArtsConnection’s out-of-school time programs provide young people with various art going and art making opportunities that challenge them intellectually and socially, helping them to develop greater college and career readiness skills, extending their experience beyond the classroom. ArtsConnection Teen Programs attracts 20,000 young people each year through High 5 Tickets to the Arts, Teen Advisory Council, Teen Reviewers and Critics, Student Art Program, Pizza and a Movie, and internships.
