Mission Statement

The VORP mission is to educate, create opportunities, and instill hope for restoring relationships harmed by conflict and/or crime .

Description

The Victim Offender Reconciliation Program (VORP) of Denver began as a grassroots response to the violent youth crimes in the summer of 1993 and is based on a well-researched, time-tested, international Restorative Justice model. The outcome of the victim offender mediation process promotes healing, self-awareness, and self-sufficiency, resulting in safer neighborhoods and communities.

ยท RESTORE program is a diversion program for first-time shoplifters aged 10-18, designed to raise awareness about the far-reaching impact of their crime on their community, their family, and themselves.
