Mission Statement

Our mission is to reduce poverty by empowering and facilitating economic development and sustainability in underserved communities through entrepreneur mentorship and providing access to literacy, education and vocational programs.

Description

We first work with the community leaders to understand the needs of the community as it relates to education, literacy and economic development. We then build solar powered community resource centers to fuel the tools, resources and activities that will promote economic and community development.

Each center will be customized to its location to:

  • address local needs;
  • preserve relevant culture and tradition;
  • expand local knowledge and skills;
  • foster entrepreneurial initiatives;
  • help generate economic activity;
  • assist entrepreneurs’ access to capital;
  • inspire innovation;
  • assist efforts to alleviate local poverty.
