Mission Statement

Dedicated to preserving the records and artifacts of Morrow County and to cultivating an appreciation of and interest in its history.

Description

We maintain an historical home, The Cross House; we also maintain The Garverick Log House built in the 1830's which we have moved to our County Fairgrounds and in December, 2014 the First-Knox National Bank donated their former building at 17 West High Street to us which we are busy preparing to be our main museum building. It is historical in that it has been a continuously operating bank from the 1860's until 2014. We are excited to get many of our collections out of storage, many that have never been on exhibit since we left our previous location at the Pleasant Grove Church when the building could no longer be maintained.
