Mission Statement
The mission of CASA of SoLA is to recruit and support carefully selected quality community volunteers. In an effort to find each child a safe, nurturing, and permanent home, these volunteers are trained to speak for the best interests of abused and neglected children in court..
Description
The CASA program recruits, trains and supervises community volunteers to speak up for abused and neglected children and advocate for their timely placement into safe and permanent homes.
Our volunteer recruitment and training are on-going and year-round. The first step is to attend an orientation session, which only takes about forty-five minutes. Our volunteer advocates, once trained, serve as a powerful voice for abused and neglected children in the foster care system.
