The Friends of the Westwood Library is an organization that raises money for the betterment of the Westwood Public Library. Fundraising is done largely through a monthly book sale, but also through an annual fund campaign, a gala fundraising event in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce, as well as smaller fundraisers such as selling tote bags, calendars and other library related items.
The Friends of the Westwood Library also serves as a social group for adults who work for the common goal of improving the Library and members also attend Library programs and take part in advocacy activities such as attending mayor and council meetings to show support for the Library.
