Mission Statement

The station's mission is to be a nucleus for the cultural and performing arts community in the St. Louis area in order to strengthen our community's cultural landscape. The station partners with distinguished local arts organizations, as well as solo and chamber artists, to broadcast performances, conduct in-depth interviews, air behind-the-scenes programs, and cover the local arts and cultural scene. Beyond classical music, RAF-STL brings jazz, blues and opera -- promoting the finest regional arts and cultural organizations, along with uniquely talented individuals.
