Mission Statement

Tacoma Maritime Fest strives to shine a light on the history and culture of the working waterfront, celebrate the waterfront industry that drives our local economy, explore the connections to our waterfront community, and educate the community about the hidden jewel that is our waterfront.

Description

Tacoma Maritime Fest is the city's only free community festival that celebrates maritime heritage, crafts, recreation and arts.

It is an all ages festival that brings together people from all over Puget Sound and engages them in all that the waterfront has to offer. From the trades, to fishing, to paddle sports and education, there is something for everyone.

We need volunteers to make this a successful event! Without the help of our volunteers, we could not run a weekend-long festival with so many free activities and opportunities.
