Description
The Warren Symphony is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing the richness of orchestral music to the families of Southeast Michigan.
Founded in 1972 by a dedicated group of civic leaders, the WSO performed its first concerts in 1974. The WSO is a professional orchestra comprised of many of the area's best trained and most wellknown musicians.
Since that time, the WSO has expanded its vision to include community outreach through school music programs, including annual Youth Concerts and ensembles. Orchestral members of the WSO provide guidance to children and young adults through ensemble assistance programs, meeting with young musicians to prepare for competition solos and ensembles. The WSO is often called upon to provide ensembles for civic dedications and private events.
