Description

The Branford Food Council, Inc. is a non-profit, 100% volunteer organization that has been operating for over 30 years. We provide groceries to over 200 families per year with about 150 on the active roles monthly and 117 families receiving help each week. The average family of 4 receives about 60# of food per week.

We obtain food at a deep discount from the CT Food Bank, private collections and with direct retail purchases with funds donated by the community.

We distribute over 200,000# of food per year.
