House of Empowerment Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides empowerment, mentoring and prevention programs to dynamic young ladies who are enrolled in middle school or high school and who are between the ages 11-18 and women of all ages.
We offer confidence and empowerment programs through age appropriate activities girls love, such as instruction in art based enrichment programs, leadership & life skills workshops, technology and entrepreneurship sessions, academic tutoring, college preparation courses and career development advisories.
The goal is to help girls achieve success in school academics, develop positive parental relations, healthy friendships, and avoid risky behaviors such as fighting, bullying, drugs, alcohol, sex before marriage and help improves their self-esteem and confidence.
House of Empowerment provides a safe, nurturing, caring environment for girls to learn, grow, and develop a healthy and productive lifestyle.
Our women program seeks to build self-esteem and self-worth in women by changing their outlook on life, broadening their horizons, and helping them to empower themselves through empowerment workshops to women of all ages.
Through Chelsea’s Closest, we also provide for and care for needy and less fortunate by providing or making available household or personal items, among other things, to those in need.
We are completely funded by gifts from individuals, foundations, and fundraisers.

Girls Empowerment Institute
Be Your Own Kind of Beautiful" Mentoring...BYOU is an out of school program serving dynamic young ladies South of Atlanta who are enrolled in middle or high school and who are between the ages 11-18. We provide them with the necessary tools to build self-esteem, make sound decisions, embrace community service and prepare themselves for success through age appropriate activities girls love, such as instruction in art based enrichment programs, leadership & life skills workshops, technology and entrepreneurship sessions, academic tutoring, college preparation courses and career development advisories. Programs take place every other Saturday. Our unique brand of girl centered group mentoring allows each girl to join a caring circle of peers facilitated by a professional who supports and assists in various discussions, classes, activities and events.
Individual mentors are also available based upon the need.

Women Empowerment Institute
House of Empowerment Women Empowerment Program is designed to build and support women, by providing leadership and mentorship guidance. Our women programs include empowerment workshops, seminars, and conferences that enhance healthy relationships, spiritual growth, career building, life classes and much more. We empower women to seek out their passions and divine purpose for living. Women are encouraged to pursue their desires, dreams and goals through confidence and courage. We provide women with resources, coaching and consulting to become leaders and entrepreneurs of our community. We also provide resources to help women mentor our youth.
