Mission Statement

Equality Virginia is a statewide, non partisan lobbying, education and support network for the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and straight allied communities in Virginia. We are an advocacy and education organization.

Description

Statewide organization, small offices located in the Fan district. We work with legislative initiatives for passage of bills in support of our community and stopping bills that hard us. We raise funds in a number of interesting ways. We work with the media. We do presentations around the state. We organize conferences. We work with students through retirees - straight allies and those within the GLBTQ community. Come join us! We'll match your skills and interests with tasks or responsibilities needed to advance our cause.
