Description
Police officers volunteering their personal time to spend special time with disadvantaged area youth. By taking them fishing, golfing, music lessons, essay contests, football, baseball, cammping, Holiday events. This is a much needed program. Often times the only time these children see an officer is when they are responding to a call. This can some times mean taking someone that child loves away. Other times parents will tell a child..... You better be good or they will take you to JAIL. Because of this how can we be seen as HEROS? Impossible. This is a much needed program. We have families and are not the bad guys we care about our area youth and we are willing to give of ourselves to prove it.
