Description

Established in 1982, the 11-99 Foundation provides emergency and death benefits to CHP employees and their families during times of crisis and tragedy while also providing scholarships to the children of CHP employees to assist in furthering their college education. The "11-99" name is taken from the radio code used by dispatchers which means, "Officer needs assistance."
