Mutual Ground

My therapist at Mutual Ground does not know exactly how many days they can house you and could not give me a definitive answer on whether or not they will find transitional housing or return me back to my abuser. She advised me to call the main line and ask the Director of Mutual Ground these questions. My therapist did tell me you do not have to be in immediate danger physically in order to be considered to be admitted to Mutual Ground. I am working with M.G. due to my local shelter having denied me many times over when I was IN IMMEDIATE DANGER. When I called a " Caseworker" answered. When I tried to ask the questions said therapist told me to ask the caseworker cut me off and stated very sharply "We only accept you for Shelter if you are in immediate danger". I wasn't calling to ask to be admitted for Shelter. I tried explaining again why I was calling and she repeated they wouldn't take me to be sheltered. She refused to connect me to M.G.'s. director. How is this acceptable.
