Mission Statement

• LPSI is a full immersion, Reggio-Emilia inspired, Italian language program that aims to give young children the breadth of skills needed to participate in a pluralistic society, explore the full breadth of their motor, cognitive and creative skills, and help them build a foundation to succeed in whatever educational and social endeavors they choose to pursue later in their lives. • The Vision for LPSI is to gradually grow the school to span education through high school in order to give children a comprehensive exposure to bilingual education through the Italian language and culture. LPSI also aims to become a social center for the extended parent community and be closely aligned with existing Italian American cultural institutions. • The Mission of LPSI is to promote Italian Culture and Heritage through language, education, and community
