Mission Statement
Pawsitive Action Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization that improves the lives of veterans and people with various disabilities by providing highly-trained assistance dogs and personalized, positive experiences. Through our association with volunteers, veterans, our public and private education system and community, we are able to place all dogs at no cost to the recipient and provide a lifetime of follow-up and support. We educate the public about the care, training and value of all our dogs as companions and assistance dogs.
Description
We will place a client with an assistance dog and facility or individual with a therapy dog anywhere in the state of Florida. We breed Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, Australian Shepherds. We also rescue dogs from high-kill shelters whenever possible. The types of dogs we train are mobility assistance dogs, autism assistance dogs, assistance dogs for veterans and facility a.k.a. therapy dogs.
