Mission Statement

The mission of the Clymer Library is to make available a wide range of Library materials and services of both a high-demand and educational substance. These materials will be available primarily for resident of Tobyhanna and Tunkhannock Townships and secondarily for members of other libraries.

The Clymer Library also realizes that many members of the community make not be able to keep pace with recent technological advancements and thus strives to be at the forefront of offering its patrons access to these revolutionary materials.

Description

The Library provides a wide range of services that may include, but are not limited to, the following: storytimes; adult and children's programming; interlibrary loans; access to computing services including the Internet, reference databases, and word processing; meeting space for non-profit and other organizations as deemed appropriate; instruction in basic computer skills; English as a Second Language and literacy instruction; and other services dedicated to a spirit of lifelong learning.
