Volunteering is its own reward. There is nothing to compare with the knowledge that you are making a difference in someone else's life during a most difficult time for them. The staff is friendly and talented at matching volunteers to tasks and patients. Whether you help in the office, fundraising, or directly with patients we can all make a difference.

I have been a volunteer for almost five years now. Hospice of Helping Hands is a great organization and has a wonderful staff and they continue to make a huge contribution to the communities they serve. Hospice of Helping Hands is a very compassionate, caring organization that treat people with dignity and respect. Not just the patients but the family as well. After Hospice helped my family. I started volunteering with them. I have helped with patients care, fund raisers, office work, and also have done some radio interviews. I just cannot say enough good about them and will continue to volunteer with them as long as I can. By helping and giving back a little that they gave my family it makes my heart feel good to know I can make a difference as well.

My first experience with Hospice of Helping Hands was during the illness of my mother. All of the staff at HHH were supportive, knowledgeable, and there for my mom and my family. I chose to volunteer with this exceptional organization to show my gratitude for support I had received and to extend to others in need. The volunteer coordinator, Sandy, uses the time I have to offer to give respite care to others. I feel I receive every time I give.

Very rewarding experience. HHH does make a difference in our community giving peace and hands on help. I enjoy the office work with Leslie and Sandy. They are GREAT gals to be with.
