Spring Street CDC offers many programs including: SOAR-Student Outreach and Academic Reinforcement which provides Providing "at-risk" youth with a holistic approach to student success; Table of Hope - "Hope Starts Here Where the Community Gathers to Share." We serve dinner M-F 5:30-7:30pm. All are welcome at no charge and we are handicap accessible. CHANGE Fitness - Fighting obesity by providing physical activities and nutrition education in fun, age appropriate ways. The goals of the Spring Street Community Development Corporation include but are not limited to: -Improving the availability of safe and affordable housing -Supporting youth through educational programming -Promoting, coordinating, supporting and providing social and community services to families -Fostering and participating in regional planning and development so as to support the efforts of local governmental units -Protecting and preserving the natural resources while promoting their sustainable use -Expanding opportunities for individuals and groups to own and operate business enterprises -Reducing unemployment and underemployment
