About Us

Starlite Dance Academy LLC was founded in January 2007 and has been active in charitable causes since its in inception. In an effort to better assist the children and families of our community, Starlite Performing Arts Foundation was Founded as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in March 2012 and is dedicated to the notion that the arts are an integral part of the human spirit.

Education and Community Involvement

Central to the organization’s mission are educational programs and community outreach efforts that encourage young people and adults to fully appreciate and participate in the performing arts.Starlite Performing Arts Foundation’s Education and Community Involvement Programs such as Summer Camp and Dance Programs serve to bring the arts to the broad community, including students and low-income and at-risk populations whose circumstances, financial or otherwise, inhibit their ability to regularly experience the performing arts. Education programs allow students to make connections between the performing arts and their classroom curriculum, personal interests, and career and education goals.

Dance and Performing Arts Program

The performing arts classes promote cognitive, artistic and intellectual development through performance. Instruction in music appreciation, literary expression, theme construction, set/costume design and make-up provides them an opportunity to explore aspects other than actual performance. Our foundation provides a professional, family oriented environment; our focus is on technique and performance quality with a strong yet artistic foundation.
