Description

The After School Program at New Hope Community Church is a non-profit, no cost program designed to benefit at risk youth in our community. It is run on donations and volunteers, who generously donate their time. Our program was founded on academic support. Our tutoring program is grade specific and it is our goal to provide adequate personnel, resources and an encouraging atmosphere to enrich the learning process.

One of our enrichment goals of the After School Program is to equip this generation with life skills applicable to immediate life context, as well as future endeavors. Some of their experience this year has been : food preparation, gardening, cooking, financial stewardship, manners and public safety.

Various sports and outdoor activities are central to our program. We value the lessons learned through hard work, dedication, practice, and working together.

A nutritious meal is provided at the end of each day. The kids take turns setting up, serving, cooking, and cleaning. Meals are provided by church volunteers, donations and community partnerships.
